[ தாவாவின் பெயரிலும் அரசியல் பெயரிலும் அணல்பறக்கும் ஃபத்வாக்கள் கொடுக்கும் நமது மார்க்க அறிஞர்களுக்கு மத்தியில் சாணக்கியமாக ஆரோக்கியமான தாவாவை செய்தவர் என்பது எமது தாயிக்களுக்கு ஒரு எடுத்துக்காட்டு. மாற்றுமதத்தவர்களுக்கு தாவா செய்வதன் அவசியத்தை நமது தாயிக்கள் உணர வேண்டும்.]

குவைத்தை சேர்ந்த அறிஞர் அப்துர்ரஹ்மான் அஸ்ஸமீத் அவர்கள் வபாத்தானார் இவர் மூலம் சுமார் ஒரு கோடியே பத்து லட்சம் ஆபிரிக்கர்கள் இஸ்லாத்தை ஏற்றுள்ளனர் என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.

குவைத்த்தில் 15 அக்டோபர் 1947 யில் பிறந்த இவர் ஈராக் பக்தாத் பல்கலைக்கழகத்தில் வைத்திய துறையில் பட்டம் பெற்றார். பின்னர் தனது பட்ட மேற்படிப்பை “உள் நோய்கள் மற்றும் ஜீரண அமைப்புகள்” எனும் விசேட துறையில் ஐக்கிய இராட்சியம் மற்றும் கனடாவில் பூர்த்தி செய்தார்.

இவர் ஆப்பிரிக்கா முஸ்லிம் அமைப்பு மற்றும் குவைத் நிவாரண நிறுவனம் ஆகியவற்றை உருவாக்கி அதன் நிறுவனராக செயற்பட்டார். அத்துடன் இவர் கீழே உள்ள பல தொண்டு மற்றும் பொதுநல நிறுவனங்கள் உருவாக்கினார்

இவரது சேவையை பாராட்டி பல்வேறு அமைப்புகள் பல விருதுகள் மற்றும் மரியாதைகளை வழங்கின, அவற்றில சில பின்வருமாறு:

1. Award of chairmen of the Gulf Cooperation Council held in Muscat,1986
2. prize of King Faisal Ben Abdul Aziz “May Allah Show Mercy to him” for serving Islam and Muslims 1996.
3. Award of the Gulf Cooperation Council for serving the scouting movement.
4. Award of the two rivers of the first class provided by the Republic of Sudan 1999.
5. Prize of Sheikh Rashed Al Noaemi, the governor of Ajman Emirate 2001.
6. Honored PH.D in the field of Islamic Call from Om Dorman Islamic University in March 2003.
7. Fars Award from the president of the Republic of Benin 2004.
8. Prize of Sheikh Hamdan Ben Rashed Al Maktoom for Medical and Human Sciences- Dubai- Emirates December 2006
9. Fars Award for Charity Work from Al Sharekah Emirate 2010
10. Honored Certificate from Voluntarily Organizations Council from Arab Republic of Egypt – Cairo.
11. Charity Work Prize from Al Sheikh Mohamed Ben Rashed Al Maktoom, governor of Dubai. – for Human and Charity Work.
12. Al Sharekah Prize for Human and Voluntarily Work 2009.

இவருடைய கடைசி காலம் ஆபிரிக்காவின் மதகஸ்கர் எனும் நாட்டிலேயே சென்றுள்ளது. இவர் இன்று மரணமடைந்துள்ளார்.

அல்லாஹ் அவருடைய கபுருடைய வாழ்கையை இலகுவாக்கி பிர்தௌசை கொடுப்பானாக.

Dr. Abd Al-Rahman bin Hamood Al-Sumait (Arabic:عبد الرحمن السميط, abd al-Rahman al-samet; born October 15, 1947, died August 15, 2013) was an Islamic scholar, medical practitioner and Humanitarian fromKuwait. He was famously known for his extensivephilanthropic works in more than 29 African countriesbenefiting millions of people in several ways.[3] He is also said to have inspired eleven million Africans to convert toIslam.[4][5]
